Kids in community connection - Postponed until November 30.

World Gospel Church is collaborating with Camp Navigate to provide a quality virtual education and childcare solution for families impacted by the extended virtual education. We will provide a safe place for kids to come learn, have instructional/tutoring assistance and experience the love of Christ through relationships with staff.

Current Schedule

Monday through Friday 8am to 3pm at World Gospel Church.

We will collaborate with Camp Navigate for After School Care daily from  3 to 6 pm with transportation via the Camp Navigate bus to the Life Center.

Students

Serving students grades Kindergarten through 8th grade will be provided a safe, respectful and caring environment during the school day where they can experience God's love through help with their virtual education requirements, recreational and service opportunities, fun Bible stories and a social outlet on their virtual learning days.


Services will be provided from 8am to 3pm each day with Camp Navigate offering an After School Care Program from 3 to 6 each afternoon. Mondays will meet at the Life Center (3000 College Ave), Tuesday through Friday will meet at World Gospel Church (900 Gardendale Rd.)


The program will cost $45/week with scholarships available on an as needed basis.

Ministry opportunities

We will seek qualified individuals on a part-time basis to be classroom supervisors, tutors, lunch monitors, and facility help. If you would be interested in serving in any of these capacities, please contact Rachel D. at kids@worldgospelchurch.org or 812-877-2075.


Classroom supervisors - an adult or college student who can manage the classroom and assist with school work as needed.


Tutor - youth, college student or adult who can come in for segments of each day to provide extra help to students throughout the day as the complete their virtual learning assignments.


Facilities Support - person or persons to come in at the end of the day to help with cleaning and restocking public areas.
