At World Gospel Church we have a passion to take the good news of Jesus Christ to Terre Haute, Vigo County, and the world. What brings us together is our common faith in Jesus Christ as God's Son and our Savior. The message of Jesus Christ is called the good news because it is the news of God's love that sent His Son Jesus to become our Savior. We want to share that message with as many people as we can.

Our mission at World Gospel Church is clear and simple: Love God. Love People. Serve the World. Through weekly worship services, age-specific ministries, Life Groups on Sunday mornings and throughout the week, and missions at home and abroad we are making disciples of Jesus Christ.
A Church with the world on its heart
World Gospel Church was founded in 1956 by pastor Carl Froderman, a former Army chaplain who felt led of God to establish a church with the world on its heart. His concern for world evangelization is reflected in the church's name and by its continuing emphasis on global outreach. We support global workers who carry God’s good news to various parts of the world. Each year many of our members travel on short-term global outreach trips. It is a privilege to be a part of Jesus’ command to “Go into all the world.”
World Gospel Church believes that the Scriptures as contained in the Old and New Testaments are God's authoritative Word and that the Apostles' Creed and the Nicene Creed are historic statements of orthodox Christianity. We warmly urge individuals to trust Jesus Christ. We believe that the Holy Spirit is present in all Christians to enable us to live holy lives. World Gospel Church is a self-governing community church of which Christ is the Head. We seek to focus on the Scriptures, to insist on the essentials of the Christian faith. We believe that if we love God supremely and one another as Christ loved us, such love will cover a multitude of sins.
